Life is a Garden

Life Is a Garden

Life is a garden!
Can't you see?
A place to walk,
Where there's mystery!

You choose the path,
Which you will take,
and plant the seeds,
the garden to make.

What seeds do you plant?
I ask of thee,
Are they the seeds of Love,
and of Charity?

Or do you rather,
sow instead,
the seeds of hate,
Selfishness and dread?

For it is written,
there you see,
What a man sows,
That will he be.

The Choice is yours
do make it wise,
choose that which is good
don't compromise.

Fill your garden with
Blossoms of hope,
and cheer the weary,
who in shadows do grope.

Weed out hate,
selfishness and dread,
to make your garden,
a haven instead.
