The power of prayer,
can do amazing things
it can make the devil run and flee
from the trouble that he brings.

It can comfort an old friend,
set an wayward heart aright
the power of prayer
gives strength through the night.

It can ease someone's burdens,
help mend a broken heart
it can release them from the past
giving their faith a new start.

It can be an intercession,
that brings hope when there is none
the power of prayer
leaves nothing left to be done.

It can be fervent and effective,
and show the error of one's ways
it can make the faint at heart
be resilient throughout their days.

It can heal sickness and disease,
bring peace to those in need
the power of prayer
brings about miracles, indeed.

The power of prayer,
does amazing things
and the more that you pray
