Embracing Memories

If it were possible, I would embrace

Your soul with my wrinkled hands,

And sing melodious lullabies, while

Droplets of morning dew quench

This thirsty sorrowful heart.

If it were possible, I would place

Your spirit on white feathered wings,

And allow heaven's breathe to guide

Fate's journey into the blue horizon.

If it were possible, I would follow

The star lit path to your destiny,

Leaving memoirs behind of

Cherished memories of you.
