What if...

 

Always thought I was immune
Of course I am
Such things can't happen to me

But what if . . .
No!

She didn't look one
. . so spotless and beautiful
The clippers looked clean
. . I saw him wipe it

Hmmm . . . is that all?
what about that blade?

Yes, what about it?
It was quite new
Doc gave it to me
He used it just once

But what if . . .

All around they are
Everyone, hale and hearty
. . not a sign
Which one of them?
. . me?

But I checked!!!
When . . .
Not so long ago
How long?
I dont know . . .I can't say

In the midst of all
I suffer silently

What if . . .
