I was thinking of the people in the flood in Texas when I wrote this poem...May God's hand reach for and save them...praying..

DRAW ON HIS POWER!

Draw on the supernatural power of the Most High God -there is no shadow of turning - His power is greater than all - no thrones, no kingdoms can match His authority and dominion none is higher -it is available to all who believe - draw on His power - there is no insufficiency in Him - He is the all sufficient One - the well of living water will never run dry - His blood will never lose its power - it reaches to the highest mountain and flows to the lowest valley - making it possible for all to

Draw on Jesus’ power!

He gives us strength for each day - as we draw on His power - He infuses us with His  Holy Spirit - and the power of His mighty Arm - draw on His power to save - so that we sing a new song of salvation - His love, compassion and mercy never fail -  let the redeemed of the Lord say so - our sin debt is paid - draw on His power to heal - by His stripes we were healed - as we touch the hem of His garment - draw on His power to bring peace - where there is trouble, uncertainty and chaos -He is our God of order - He is there in the midst of it all - making straight the crooked places - draw on His power for all of our needs - He will provide and deliver - bringing blessings and miracles - we know not of - he brings hope for the hopeless, help for the helpless - He is a friend to the friendless - a friend who sticks closer than a brother - when we look to the hills from whence comes our help - He is our very present help - we can rely and

About the Poet
I was born in Lexington County, SC. I lived in Jacksonville, Florida for many years.I recently moved back home to my home town, Columbia, SC. I have one daughter, Kimberly. I now have two brothers. One went to be with the Lord in January, 2010. My Mom went to be with the Lord, Memorial Day May 28, 2012. Among the things I am grateful for and remembering about her is my salvation. She was a strong passionate woman of God all of her life and a beautiful loving Mother. I was saved and baptized in the ocean in Rota, Spain. What an experience that was! Holy Spirit chased me and drew me to Himself, while I was alone in another country. I surrendered to the Lord, and His peace flooded my soul. It was so beautiful. I am so happy he saved me and redeemed me. I am so happy to share these poems from His heart and mine. Poetry is a release and has inspired and encouraged me and many who have read my poetry. I was blessed to write for a number of years on Crossway Publications and had over 300 poems that I wrote on the site. God has increased my gift with more beautiful poetry. In 2005 my poetic writings seemed to catch the fire of God and have a deeper meaning. I thank God for this chance to share my poetry with all. God Bless...
