GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

14 You are the God of great wonders!
You demonstrate your awesome power among the nations.
- Psalm 77:14(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

The Lord says:
10 “The rain and snow come down from the heavens
and stay on the ground to water the earth.
They cause the grain to grow,
      producing seed for the farmer
      and bread for the hungry.
11 It is the same with my word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
12 You will live in joy and peace.
The mountains and hills will burst into song,
and the trees of the field will clap their hands!"
- Isaiah 55:10-12(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

As disciples speak and live their faith and hope grounded solely in Jesus Christ, they become for others signs of hope, pointing not to the future secured by human hands, but the one intended by God.  - Dale Aukerman -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

If you get up one more time than you fall, you will make it through.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures in the mid nineties.  June and I had lunch with Bill and Charley.  Later June and I went to the post office and Walgreens.  We have been inside until just after 7:00 p.m., then we sat outside with the cats and read until 8:45 p.m.  I am attaching a picture tonight and I will do that every night if it works out for you.  Now let me know if you received the picture.

The cats are fine.  Little Girl is on the couch with June.  The picture I am sending tonight is my back yard looking across the street to some apartments.  You can see four of my cats lying in the grass.

Please pray for one of my e-mail friends that her very sick cat will go to Cat Heaven peacefully.  Also pray for my friend.  If you have ever lost a pet you know how she feels.

At 11:05 p.m. skies are clear with a temperature of 79 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
