GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

5 O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
- Psalm 86:5(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

1 My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. 2 He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.  - 1 John 2:1-2(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Let the Spirit of Jesus control your life and give you His peace.
- C. V. Spaulding Jr. -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

You will never leave where you are until you decide where you would rather be.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been partly sunny with high temperatures in the upper seventies.  After lunch today, I went to Nix Ford Garage for a service job on my van.  Then I went to Walmart and bought 3 new tires to go with the new one I purchased about a month ago when one of my tires went bad.  I didn't get home until about 5:00 p.m. and I was tired so I lay down for a nap.  When I awoke I had too many things to do so I didn't get to go to church tonight.  Later in the evening I did sit out in the back yard for a half hour or so and read and visited with the cats.

The cats are fine.  Most of them are outside now except Itty Bitty and she is asleep in one of the bedrooms.  She will wake up and want to go out later.

At 10:50 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 69 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
