GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

50 Your (the Lord's) promise revives me;
      it comforts me in all my troubles.
- Psalm 119:50(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

27 If you search for good, you will find favor;
      but if you search for evil, it will find you!
28 Trust in your money and down you go!
      But the godly flourish like leaves in spring.
- Proverbs 11:27-28(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

God is still the sovereign Lord who is in control of the world He created.
- Shawna Renee Bound -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

Learning to say "I'm sorry" brings peace to your life.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today has been mostly cloudy in Moore, Oklahoma, with high temperatures in the low thirties.  I have been home all day.  I had lunch at home.  I did two loads of laundry.  I worked in the study part of the day.  At the start of last year I challenged people to read the Bible through in 2009.  Several people took that challenge.  I heard from Stan McMullen.  He finished reading the Bible through ahead of time on December 18.  Lucille Hails told me some time ago that she had read the Bible through again.  I think Michelle Angelina, Michele Filitti and Burlene Wilson are working on it as well as some others that I can't remember just now.  I haven't finished reading the Bible though this year as yet but I am still working on it and will make it one of these days.  If you haven't read the Bible through lately, maybe you should strive to do it this year.  Let me know if you have read the Bible through recently and I will report it on Good Things.

The cats are fine.  If you could listen in on me during the day and night you would hear me talking to my cats.  Rascal slept with me again this afternoon and snuggled close and layed his head on my pillow to sleep.  I think all the cats are inside at present but some of them will go out again for a little while before bedtime.

At 7:00 p.m. skies are partly cloudy with a temperature of 26 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
