GOD SPEAKS TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 10 "When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love."  - John 15:10(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

8 That night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep. 9 Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, 10 but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. 11 The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!"  - Luke 2:8-11(New Living Translation).

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

If you look back too much, you will soon be heading that way.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper thirties.  I had lunch at home.  My daughter, Treva, arrived about 3:00 p.m. from Topeka, Kansas.  I went to the post office to mail some letters.  Treva and I went to Hobby Lobby to buy Christmas flowers.  We then ate our evening meal at Boomerang.  We then went by Crest Food Store.  There is a strong possibility that there will not be Good Things tomorrow night so don't be concerned.

The cats are fine, staying in most of the time due to cold weather.  Friendly is asleep in my computer chair.

At 8:50 p.m. skies are clear with a temperature of 27 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
