GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

4 Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich.
Be wise enough to know when to quit.
5 In the blink of an eye wealth disappears,
      for it will sprout wings
and fly away like an eagle.
- Proverbs 23:4-5(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(Mary, the mother of Jesus, said)
50 "He (the Lord) shows mercy from generation to generation
      to all who fear him."
- Luke 1:50(New Living Translation).

A QUOTE

Give me grace, good Lord, to set my mind firmly on you.
- Thomas More -

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

Life is 10 percent what you make it and 90 percent how you take it.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES

Today started with clear skies and became partly cloudy this afternoon.  High temperatures were near 40 degrees.  I had lunch at home.  This afternoon I took my van to Bob Moore Ford for a service job and a few other things.  Otherwise it has been a quiet day.  I walked through the back yard this morning and the weather was pretty cool.

The cats are fine.  They stay inside a lot since the weather is cooler.  Rascal has been snuggling with me when I take my nap in the afternoon.  I think he can sense that I have been feeling a little sad the past few days.  Right now Itty Bitty is lying in a chair here in my study and Rascal is lying on the floor.  I did get the computer chair tonight.

At 7:35 p.m. skies are partly cloudy with a temperature of 29 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
