GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.  - Ephesians 1:3(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

1 Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? 3 Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? 4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.  5 Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was.  - Romans 5:1-5(New Living Translation).

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day in Moore, Oklahoma, with high temperatures in the mid sixties.  I had lunch at home today.  This afternoon I went to the doctor's office and got a flu shot.  I then went by Crest Food Store.  My two daughters, June and Treva will be here in a little while to spend the night with me.  The funeral for Clariece will be tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. at the First Freewill Baptist Church in McAlester, Oklahoma.  There will probably not be a Good Things tomorrow night as I will be tired after attending the funeral.  Thanks to all who have sent condolences via e-mail.  Time does not permit me to answer each one individually but you are appreciated.

The cats are fine.  Beau is asleep in the computer chair.

At 7:25 p.m. skies are clear with a temperature of 54 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
