Good Things

Thursday, November 20, 2014

GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

28 Do not testify against your neighbor without cause, or use your lips to deceive. - Proverbs 24:28(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. - 1 Corinthians 13:11-12(New International Version).

A QUOTE:

Each day is an opportunity to leave a testimony of our faith. - Dave Brannon -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

Birds have bills, too, but they keep on singing. - From Reminisce Magazine -

Sin's contamination requires the Savior's cleansing. - From Our Daily Bread -

What you can't do, don't; what you can do, do. - From Reminisce Magazine -

NOTES:

Today has been partly cloudy with a high temperature of 65 degrees. I had lunch with Charley and Bill. I went to Country Mart for a few items. I went to the post office. I took a nap with Smokey. At 4:00 p.m. I went out to mail a letter. At 4:30 p.m. I put treats outside for the cats. Thanks for your notes and thanks for reading the Good Things.

The cats are fine. Lucy and Rascal are in the den with me at present. I have seen all the cats this evening.

Have a nice Friday, Everett.
