GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(The Apostle Paul wrote) 38 "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."  - Romans 8:38-39(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

5 But he was pierced for our rebellion,
      crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed.
6 All of us, like sheep, have strayed away.
We have left God’s paths to follow our own.
Yet the Lord laid on him
      the sins of us all.
- Isaiah 53:5-6(New Living Translation).

NOTES

Today has been a sunny day with high temperatures in the high eighties.  I had lunch with my pastor, J. T. Carnell.  Charley had a doctor's appointment during that time.  I came by the post office and Walgreens to pick up some prescriptions.  I took a nap and later in the afternoon went to a Dollar General Store.  I sat out with the cats this evening until about 8:25 p.m.  Some of them stayed out with me until I came in.  Later this evening I will send you a video to listen to.  The picture tonight is Little Girl.

The cats are fine.  Rascal was just in to check on me.

At 10:45 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 67 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
