GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

35Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, "If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all."   - Mark 9:35(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy) 16"Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers."  - 1 Timothy 4:16(New International Version).

A QUOTE

Everyone whether great or small must come to God the same way - with a repentant heart and in obedient faith.

A THOUGHT TO REMEMBER

The worst fault of a motorist is the belief that he or she has none.

NOTES

Today has been mostly sunny with high temperatures near 80 degrees.  I had lunch with Charley.  We saw many of our friends there today.  This afternoon I went to the animal shelter and then to the post office.  I sat outside for a few minutes this evening but the wind made it feel quite cool.

Happy has not returned.  I went to the animal shelter and left a picture of him.  Monday I called every vet in McAlester and told them to call me if anyone brought in a black and white cat that had been hurt.  I knocked on several doors on my street this afternoon and showed them a picture of Happy.  I put up pictures of him on four power poles around the area with my telephone number.  I am beginning to feel that someone picked him up because he is a beautiful friendly cat.  Needless to say, I am heart broken.  After I send the Good Things I will send a picture of Happy to everyone just in case you believe in praying for animals.  Pray that he will return or that someone will bring him back.

At 9:45 p.m. skies are fair with a temperature of 70 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
