GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

14 For this God is our God for ever and ever;
       he will be our guide even to the end.
- Psalm 48:14(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

7 While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God. 8 Even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered. 9 In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him.  - Hebrews 5:7-9(New Living Translation).

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

Blowing out the other person's candle won't make yours shine any brighter.
- From Reminisce Magazine -

Write down the advice of him who loves you, though you like it not at the present.
- English Proverb -

NOTES

Today has been partly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid fifties.  I attended church this morning.  I rested for a while this afternoon as well as walked some in the back yard.  I attended church tonight.  Tonight was fellowship night where we shared a meal together.

Beau seems to be alright now.  He has been eating and has resumed his normal activities.  I am really concerned about Happy.  He didn't come in last night and has been gone all day.  That is not like Happy.  I hope someone didn't take him to their home.  He is such a pretty cat and is friendly.  I am praying and watching for his safe return.

At 9:20 p.m. the skies are fair with a temperature of 48 degrees.  I will see you next time.

In Christian Love, Everett.
