GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD

(The Apostle Paul wrote) 21 "It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, 22 and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment that guarantees everything he has promised us."  - 1 Corinthians 1:21-22(New Living Translation).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD

(Jesus said) 40"For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son (Jesus) and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."  - John 6:40(New International Version).

A QUOTE

Faith and obedience are bound up in the same bundle.  He that obeys God, trusts God; and he that trusts God, obeys God.  - Charles H. Spurgeon -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER

On those dreary, rainy days, do you wonder why anyone saves up for them?

Once you get started doing nothing, it's hard to quit.

NOTES

Today has been mostly cloudy with high temperatures in the mid sixties.  Today I have been busy making arrangements by phone to get all of my utilities turned on to my house in McAlester by Thursday.  I had lunch at home.  This afternoon I went to the post office and Crest Food Market.  Later I went to Norman, Oklahoma, to Cats Only Vet Clinic to borrow some cat carriers to transport my kitties to McAlester.  We will do that tomorrow.  This will probably be the last Good Things until after I move.  I have now received notes from 30 people wanting to continue with the Good Things.  There is still time to let me know if you haven't already told me if you want to continue receiving the Good Things.

The cats are fine, going in an out enjoying the warm weather.

At 7:05 p.m. skies are cloudy with a temperature of 60 degrees.  I will see you next time from McAlester.

In sincere Christian Love, Everett.
