GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS HOLY WORD:

15 May you be blessed by the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. - Psalm 115:15(New International Version).

GOD'S PROMISE TO US FROM HIS HOLY WORD:

17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. - Psalm 34:17(New International Version).

A QUOTE:

May the Lord give us grace today to embrace His Word and follow Him with all our hearts. - David McCasland -

THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:

Obedience to God is the key to a life of blessing. - From Our Daily Bread -

Over every mountain is a path that can't be seen from the valley. - From Reminisce Magazine -

You were created in God's image - may your actions be a reflection of His love today. - From Prayers & Blessings -

NOTES:

Today we have had rain most of the day and it is still raining. High temperature today was 77 degrees. The last time I checked my rain gauge about 6:30 p.m. I had received nine tenths of an inch of rain. The rain is supposed to continue into tomorrow. I had lunch today with Charley and Bill. I went by the post office and came home and have been inside the rest of the day. I took a nap this afternoon. Smokey was with me part of the time. Thanks for your emails and thanks for reading the Good Things. I was tired last night so as you know you didn't receive them.

The cats are fine. Emmy, Lucy and Smokey are with me at present. Rascal has been here. They are staying inside most of the time due to the rain. I have seen all of them this evening.

Have a nice Thursday. Everett
