Pray for peace

Your support of the boycott played a key role in convincing Ford to cease its significant support of the homosexual agenda. During the 24 months the boycott was in effect, Ford sales dropped an average of 8% per month. The boycott was not entirely responsible for the drop in sales, but it played a very significant role.

 Citizens  have been arrested for speaking out at a public rally’s, students are being forced to attend classes that require them to recite verses from the Koran and to stage their own jihad (Muslim holy war), and activists pushing social tolerance to such an extreme that the Bible itself is being labeled “hate speech.”

Pray God Will Remove the Double Standard

“Separation of church and state” only seems to apply when it is being used to keep Christ out of school. Islam is being promoted in California public schools while a student in Nevada, speaking of her own personal beliefs, was forbidden to speak the name of Jesus. Plus, the hypocrisy of the tolerance movement and what it does to silence the voices of Christians and conservatives is unconscionable.

Hate Crimes on a Federal Level

  “Hate crime” is the new buzzword in law enforcement.  But what do hate crime laws aim to punish? This legislation elevates homosexuals and transsexuals and affords them expanded protection while criminalizing the actions of Christians and conservatives. The punishments often target thought and speech, making 75-year-old grandmothers face life in prison and teenagers in public schools  forbidden to speak out against homosexuality in the name of tolerance.  This is what we can expect to see more of here in the United States if these laws are passed on the federal level. www.silencingchristians.com

Pray for a Fair Up-or-Down Vote

I have noticed over the last year a disturbing trend with regard to the slow pace of the Senate’s consideration of judicial nominees, especially those for the Courts of Appeal. If the nominee has conservative credentials, is deemed to be a person who takes their faith seriously, and has expressed any opposition to abortion, it appears that this becomes a disqualifier for those who are in the majority of the Senate Judiciary Committee. A judge’s membership in the Federalist Society or Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship should not be a basis for exclusion for serving on the federal courts.  This is especially so when the nominees receive a well-qualified ranking from the American Bar Association.  This is what Senator Patrick Leahy called “the gold standard.”  Yet despite these rankings from the ABA, a number of judicial nominees have been denied a fair up-or-down vote. Clean Up Our Airwaves

There is not much TV that anyone with moral values can watch and not be offended time and time again. We must clean up our airwaves for the sake of our nation and we who inhabit it. We have a right to be decent people and this is one place to start. My family needs good entertainment that is free of indecency and cursing.

The high court will review a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) policy that calls for broadcasters to be fined for "fleeting expletives," or one-time uses of a common four-letter word. The case before the court involves two airings of the Billboard Music Awards on FOX. During both airings, celebrities' expletives were broadcast live. NBC has a separate challenge to an FCC fine for airing a rock star's expletive during a Golden Globe Awards show.
