Eddies

 Eddies

Life charges on
Currents carry
We seem married to a withering pace.

Eddies are where inklings live
Random ruminations
Centering cerebrations.

Eddies are maternal
Amniotic
Cocoons of countercurrent
Hostels of healing.

Fears, hopes, ideas
Middled by a gentle vortex
Are kept, dropped
Or recycled.

Idled in eddies
We are open
Floating
Flotsam midst God's flotilla

Our lives may be indelibly changed
Depending on who finds us
In the bulrushes.
