All Is Right with the World

All Is Right with the World

All is right with the world,
Was my heart's loud cry!
No, It is not! No, it is Not!
My soul protested its swift reply.

Job lay-offs, violence, crime
and terror
Is drastically on the rise.
And yet, my heart is overwhelmed
By Spring's pleasant and very much
Welcomed surprise.

A beautiful sunrise, and cool breezes
As if I lived on the beloved seashore,
Beckon to me to lift up my spirit,
And give thanks for my blessings,
Yet, more and more.

True, all is not right with the world,
I yield to my soul's wise obsrvation.
But when Spring comes forth as God designed,
My Soul must prayerfully yield,
To my heart's joyful transformation.
