Strung

 Strung

Between birth and death
I am strung
A single string in a vast orchestra
Waiting to be played.

Even now I oscillate to an untamed melody
Reflecting harmonics
But feeling more stowaway than Stradivarius.

"No mortal ear hath heard" this tune
But echoes are undeniable
And spirit witnessed.

So I wait
Strung between birth and death
Ready
For the Master touch.
