The Quashing Question

 The Quashing Question

A means...
Or an end.
Do I bend His ear
Continually begging?
Is He merely convenient
For dreams I've been dredging?

Using God...
Using people.
A useless utilization of limited time,
A shallow subsistence missing depth of existence.

Treasures lay deep in relationships
Cloaked in mystery
Approachable through openness,
Vulnerability, sensitivity, imagination.
Nothing quashes quicker than the question,
"What can you do for me today?"
