Roses Aren't Always Red
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Roses aren't always red,

violets can be white or blue
but what never changes ~ Lord
is the love that comes from You.

I know I am not perfect,
but You love me any way
Your love is the sunshine
that brightens up my day.

You love me like no other,
Your love is the real thing
You give me such happiness
with the joy that You bring.

Your love is ever steady,
forever it will go on
and when You are near
my soul pants like a fawn.

You know my heart,
and every beat that it takes
though it might skip around
You still forgive my mistakes.

Roses sometimes are red,
violets also can be blue
but Your love for me Lord . . .
is constantly ~ true!
