War Over The Gift of Land

War Over The Gift of Land

Dusty roads, mountainous slopes, rocky paths,

Echoes of written history of a forgotten past.

A gift of God to His people -- no time of peace ever last,

An ungodly world faced with an impossible task.

Upon an old rugged Cedar of Lebanon Prince of Peace cast,

Rejected by both Gentile and Jew though fervently asked.

Dusty roads, mountainsous slopes, rocky paths,

War over the gift of land our future as well as our past!
