The Master of Our Needs

The Master of Our Needs

Jesus Christ, the Son of God,
Often became the Master of the Sea;
Yesterday, today and tomorrow,
He has been and will be the Master of our needs.

Roaring waves, strong blowing winds,
He speaks calm and peace to each of these;
For our storms of life, He will do the same,
And become a Son in whom God is well pleased.

Empty nets, tired bodies, spirits and minds,
He speaks and with fish the boats are filled;
In the midst of our brokenness and emptiness,
The Miracle Worker creates our needed miracles still!

Jesus Christ, the Son of God,
Often became the Master of the Sea;
Yesterday, today and tomorrow,
He has been and will continue to be --
The Master of Our Needs!
