A Servant of Prayer

A Servant of Prayer

Ask and you shall receive,
Seek and you will find,
Knock and it shall be opened unto you,
The New Testament joyfully shares~
That a disciple of Christ should be
A servant of prayer.

Humble yourself
Bow your kness,
Lift up your soul,
Cry out to the living God who is everywhere~
For a disciple of Christ must be
A servant of prayer.

Hurting hearts and troubled minds,
Sick bodies and restless souls,
Resources for adequate supply,
Accept the challenge, Jesus so often declared~
A disciple of His should always seek to be
A servant of prayer.
