Born on Eagles' Wings

Born on Eagles' Wings

Through many acts of deliverance,
Israel was born on eagles' wings;
God told Moses to honor these acts with a song,
And to teach His people how to joyfully sing.

The eagle is a beautiful portrait,
Of God's amazing grace;
On the sacred wings of eagles',
God led Israel to a new homeplace.

It is through the birth of His spirit,
That a new song is given to us to sing;
On the shoulder of Jesus rested a white dove,
Whispering that the Church (The New Israel) too,
Would be born on eagles' wings.

Read Exodus 19:4 and Deut. 31:19,30
and Deut. 32:10,11
