Christmas In The Year 2002
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

Other Poems by George David Denson

Merry Christmas! It is hard to believe,
That it will soon be Christmas in the year 2002.
God becoming man through Jesus of Nazareth,
Still appeals to our tech-soul, as if it were brand new.

His name shall be called Jesus,
We were told on that first Christmas Day.
He will save His people from their sins,
For He is truly the life, and the only way.

Zecharias and Elizabeth, Joseph and Mary,
Couples in love with each other ever so true.
Our tech-families need desparately to see again,
This Christmas gift of love's redemptive clue.

A dream? No a fact! It will soon be Christmas --
In the year 2002,
And maybe many more beyond;
Ever reminding us that Jesus of Nazareth,
Was, and Is, and Will Always Be, God's only begotten Son.
