Blowing in the Wind

Blowing in the Wind

A popular song in days gone by,
Addressed the social issues of its time.
The solutions to those problems were within,
For as the song stated,
"The answer is blowing in the wind."

As I causally glance out my office window,
Watching the wind remnants of Lilli gustily blow.
Memory of Jesus' words to old Nicodemus,
The wind blows and you hear the sound thereof,
Yet, you know not from whence it comes or where it goes.

This new look at the breath of an invisible wind,
Once again affirms that God was right,
When His Son He did send --
To save our world through the Holy Spirit's strong hand,
For God also knew,
"The answers of life are blowing in the wind."
