God's Poetic Nature

God's Poetic Nature

In the beginning God created the world,
The Old Testament clearly says.
And the Spirit of God moved on the scene,
Light and Darkness in motion,
Creation's rhythmic poetic ways.

In the beginning was the Word,
The New Testament plainly declares.
And the Word became flesh,
Grace and Truth in motion,
Heaven's golden poetic stairs.

You must be born again,
Jesus emphatically decreed.
The wind of the Spirit blows,
Love and Life in motion,
Salvation's lovely poetic seeds.

Redeemed man is God's friend,
Engaging in faith's adventure.
By His grace we are saved,
Spirit and Truth in motion,
God's amazing poetic nature.
