Hear Your Heart Sing

And God said, "Let fields and flowers enchant,

Let forests and glades aromas provide,

Ebulliently may all manner of plant

Herald deep joy where my dear ones reside."

"Let wombs that slumbered through winter erupt,

Uncloistered creatures awaken, young sprites

Streaming be gone from their burgeoning crypt,

Shadow and gloom be aborted by Light."

But Man, so busy in serving his Pride

Scarcely takes note so tormented is he,

Afflicted in darkness, estranged to Guide

Appealing through senses, "Rise, wake, see!"

An Almighty Hand bestows lovely Spring,

Step out of the shadows, hear your heart sing.
