Nature's Morning Light
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By George David Denson
Other Poems by George David Denson

Today as I awoke,
I was lovingly embraced,
By nature's morning light.

Quickly the clouds of defeat,
Were replaced by the sun-rays of victory,
At this most picturesque sight.

Sometimes life is just too hard,
Turning our light-filled days,
Into coal black nights.

Restless souls, anxious spirits
Often create unsolicited question marks,
Of what might be the bright shining path of right.

Rest assure, my friend,
With hope in our hearts, and faith in our souls,
Our present darkness will be dispelled --
By nature's day-breaking morning light.
